Hi all gmsh users:
Im dealing to set physical groups for a complex geometry , but it has several
internal faces so it is a bit complicated to do inside gmsh.
I prefer to import the geometry as brep or step file from salome, so ¿is there
any way to do this step externally?
Best regards
Jacob

Hi gmsh users:
I’m trying to créate a 3d mesh of a cube from a merged 3d surfaces to apply
physical groups easily. I applied the booleanFragments operator, and it removes
the aditional edges and vértices. However, when I créate a Surface loop,
automatically generates aditional surfaces(when i g

Hi Geordie,
Thank you for your reply. In my case I imported my geometry from CAD program.
It consists of a 2d sea domain delimited by the coastline in the bottom. In
this case, as I imported the geometry using opencascade, I don’t know which is
the way of changing the orientation of this. I kno
, it helped me to find another way to solve the problem.
I attach the .m script, the .xyz points and the generated .geo file.
Best Regards,
Jacob
