I'm not sure what you mean by 'looked at Qt' - in effect, I AM looking at it, since I also run KDE3.0 on my Tru64 UNIX workstation here at work :-). Insofar as the code itself is concerned, I don't know enough about the nuts and bolts to give you a usable answer. I run SuSE 7.1 on my Alpha PC164
