Well, well. I, too, just built and installed 2.4.0
on one of the machines on my internal home net and
now (coincidentally?) another machine on my net is
griping about strange networking errors - I'm seeing
zillions of these:

Well I never ! I just built and installed the 2.4 kernel. It seems to detect
my sound card, but it doesn't work. But really weird is that the Portsentry
cracker detector is reporting a "Possible stealth scan from unknown host to
TCP port: 515 (accept failed)". Looks like my printer is tryi
