I will be out of town during the normal 2nd Monday SLUG meeting this month.
The next SLUG meeting will be on the 10th of September 2012 (normal 2nd
Monday at 7pm).
Hope everyone is enjoying this HOT summer, or at least tolerating it!

I hadn't noticed that the SLUG meeting occurs during my vacation until it was
too late to schedule anything.
I've put up the following News article on the website suggesting anyone
showing up visits the Chinese restaurant and perhaps a random social event.
With the current weather conditions expected this evening we have decided to
call tonight's meeting due to snow. Cole will be presenting this talk next
month on 4/13.
See you all next month! Drive safely.

Well you could run rsync from an emacs shell.
But then again I'm sure we'll be getting a PERL solution soon. The
other swiss army knife of Unix. (Although emacs could make the PERL
look pretty too). ;)

I use xfig. It works great and you still have the unedited version of
the image when you're done. Export to whatever format you want.
My use was to take a digital photo of a baby growth curve chart. Then
