I also just discovered this project (http://www.opencrx.org/tour-features.htm), which offers a (biased?) comparison chart of both proprietary and open source ERP/CRM products ps. this message was sent using GMail, hopefully in text-mode, so as not to bother anyone with ugly HTML mail.

Our company uses www.crmondemand.com by Siebel. It's very powerful (from what I can tell) and does much more than just contacts. Not sure what the pricing is, but one downfall is you need IE (or a firefox plugin to change the useragent). I'm not familiar with anything else, but usually always
