The ellipses at least is in virtually every Latin font. Since the glyph for this character is in the "Windows ANSI" character set, the "Macintosh Roman" character set and the old "Adobe Standard Encoding" it is safe to use even with old fonts that have < 256 glyphs, provided the font is correc
