Hello!
I am unable to commit an update to the gnome-42 branch of gnome-terminal
via DL [1]. I do have the rights to commit translations for other projects,
what is the matter here?
Have a nice Sunday,
Philipp

We should translate the "main" branch, correct? Or is there some sort of
"pre-release" branch?
Thanks,

Hello all!
I would like to show you these little scripts that I use in order to
streamline my translation workflow. Maybe you can benefit of them in some
way or even incorporate them into your own workflow!
I would love to hear your feedback, too - what do you use to make your life

Hello Rafael, Matej and all others,
Unfortunately, a re-upload of the translation didn't do the trick. The file
is indeed UTF-8 encoded, so this doesn't seem to be the problem here.
I opened an issue in the DL issue tracker here [1]. Matej, I think it would
be beneficial if you could add any
Hello,
We at the German team have a similar error message when trying to commit a
translation:
'ascii' codec can't encode character '\xfc' in position 7: ordinal not in

Thanks for the heads-up, Allan!
Is there an easy way to generate an English version of the release notes
for 41?
I think it would be nice to see the whole document in context, this would
make it easier to have a consistent writing style throughout the translated
document.
Have a nice weekend,

Hello all,
I get this error too - so far only when trying to upload a translation for
an older release and I checked the "Cherry-pick to the main/master branch
if possible" checkbox.
So far, despite the 504 error, the translation did perfectly land in the
git repos every time, I assume it is only
Hello all,
When going to https://l10n.gnome.org/ I get the attatched screenshot.
Should I just try again later?
Cheers,

Hello all,
In DL, the libadwaita package seems to have no translatable strings at all
[1]. However, when clicking on the Download button, it downloads a po file
that contains already translated strings.
At libadwaita's module page [2], I can see that other languages haven't got
this problem -

Hello!
When I want to commit the German translation of gnome-software (
https://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gnome-software/master/po/de), this error
message pops up:
[Errno 1] Command: "['git', 'push', 'origin', 'master']", Error: Warning:

I don't really get why you would want an empty notification with just the
battery icon.
Therefore, I prefer the notification with text.
Why did you ask this question on the translators' mailing list, though?
What do we have to do with that?
(I'm not mad at you, just curious...)

Am Mi.,
Hey all!
The German translations have the same problem.
DL warns that some po files are not UTF-8 encoded, but all of them are.
Have a nice weekend,

Hello all,
I contribute to a GNOME Shell Extension called Fly-Pie [1]. Mostly
documentation and some scripts that help with the workflow, since I am
absolutely no master at coding xD...
We are searching for translators.
Is there a way to get Fly-Pie incorporated into Vertimus, so that other
