Unable to commit gnome-terminal translation

2022-04-03 Thread Philipp Kiemle via gnome-i18n
Hello! I am unable to commit an update to the gnome-42 branch of gnome-terminal via DL [1]. I do have the rights to commit translations for other projects, what is the matter here? Have a nice Sunday, Philipp [1] https://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gnome-terminal/gnome-42/po/de/

Hello Rafael, Matej and all others, Unfortunately, a re-upload of the translation didn't do the trick. The file is indeed UTF-8 encoded, so this doesn't seem to be the problem here. I opened an issue in the DL issue tracker here [1]. Matej, I think it would be beneficial if you could add any

Thanks for the heads-up, Allan! Is there an easy way to generate an English version of the release notes for 41? I think it would be nice to see the whole document in context, this would make it easier to have a consistent writing style throughout the translated document. Have a nice weekend,

Hello all, I get this error too - so far only when trying to upload a translation for an older release and I checked the "Cherry-pick to the main/master branch if possible" checkbox. So far, despite the 504 error, the translation did perfectly land in the git repos every time, I assume it is only

libadwaita showing as if there were no translatable strings

Hello all, In DL, the libadwaita package seems to have no translatable strings at all [1]. However, when clicking on the Download button, it downloads a po file that contains already translated strings. At libadwaita's module page [2], I can see that other languages haven't got this problem -
