I've spoken with Ignacio Casal Quinteiro and we've agreed that I will
take over maintainership of gtranslator. This summer, a student is working
on a GSoC project to write an alternative to gtranslator, but while it's in
the early stages, I'm hoping to breathe new life into gtranslator
Currently, we're in the string change announcement period. You're free to
make string changes, but need to notify gnome-i18n and gnome-doc-list.
String freeze begins on the 2nd.

I've just made a commit that marks three strings in the menus for
translation that were previously unmarked. (_Undo, _Redo, _Contents)

I've just committed a patch[1] that trims whitespace from a few strings
and rewrites one string in the setup assistant.

I've committed a patch in gnome-panel that manually sets the title of
the about dialog, allowing it to be translated properly in some
languages where it could before.

Importing translations from Launchpad could potentially do great harm to
the work of upstream translators with no recourse save to constantly
revert. Please don't do it.

I think the first
to have there. The nplurals part should tell you
how many there are. Keep in mind that some languages may have a fairly
large number here: the Irish translation team is currently debating the
proper style of indicating plurals and may end up with six different forms.
