Hello, The string break request are part of mitigation for gedit's #197 <https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gedit/-/issues/197> (see PR #104 <https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gedit/-/merge_requests/104>) This is an issue that impacts users pretty badly since it leaves gedit slow or unresponsive. Sometimes includes needing to reboot the machine.
My view: this change is only 3 strings that can be translated in less than 5 minutes and can prevent users going to a really bad user experience.
