Guile 1.8 error

Is Gnucash (as of r16711) supposed to work with Guile 1.8.3? Macports changed things around so it's hard to use Guile 1.6 so I tried to build Gnucash (from SVN, not Macports) with 1.8.3. When I run it I get this error loading saved reports (any saved reports): * 02:11:44 MESSG loading saved
