according to the Gnome documentation guidelines, screenshots should be
taken with the default options set.
The current practice doesn't comply with that. The toolbar style on most
pictures is 'Text below icons', default is 'Priority text beside icons'.
Not a big deal, bu
Hi,
I think you should file this as a bug!
No matter what mistake you make as a user, Gnucash should not crash, but
rather give you a reasonable error message and handle the situation
gracefully (what Gnucash usually does).
On my Ubuntu machine, after installing MySQL, I had to log into the

Hi,
my previous questions regarding this matter can be discarded.
As I recently discovered, choosing the option to show a 'Grand Total'
does not mean, that a third number is to be shown in the summary bar, as
I always expected.
It rather means, that if you have multiple currencies, a Grand Total

"Assets" is calculated as (assets - liabilities)
and
"Profits" is calculated as (income - expenses) in the current
accounting perid
The "Grand Total" is not displayed?! How is this calculated?
Thanks, Juergen

Hi,
is the attached text still current?
I can't find a "Menu and Toolbar" preference panel or anything
equivalent in Gnome 2.30.2
Thanks, Juergen

Hi,
looking at the po directory, I find 37 languages (and dialects) now.
How can I tell, if these fall into the category 'fully translated' or
'partially supported'?
Thanks

As much as I could find out from the documentation for DocBook 4.1.2,

Hi,
I'd like to suggest, that in the in the 'Preferences' dialog, the
translation 'Voreinstellungen Kontenbuch' should be changed to
'Kontenbuch Voreinstellungen'.
The advantage would be, that it is sorted together with 'Kontenbuch',
to which it relates and what is the case in the English versio
Hi,
I'd like to suggest, that the English term 'Account hierarchy' should be
translated in German as 'Kontenplan' instead of 'Kontenhierarchie'.
This would also be the appropriate term for the 'Accounts' tab in the
main window. See http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kontenplan
Cheers,
