I think you can export the account from B then import into A. There will be
some duplicates if you just import right off. GnuCash may find and disregard
them, or you might have to mark them for not importing manually.

One possibility is to copy the log file which takes in the transactions you
wish to have copied into the other file and
open it with the other copy of gnucash. I don't know if this will work or not
but it is worth a try. not sure whether
