- We record expenses at the moment of payment since most are purchased
online, invoiced, and paid at the same time.

I have a set of accounts in which some transactions have a considerable
number of splits, each one relating to an individual person. All of
these splits have the same amount in the debit column, but the number
of splits in each of these transactions varies.

1. Get accounting advice on needs - how to structure business accounts and
required processes
2. Select software and set it up
Just because your accountant can advise you on the best accounting setup
