This looks like a problem with the Scheduled Transaction (SX) window rather than a general focus problem. Try this in order: 1. Uncheck: Preferences > Scheduled Transactions > Since Last Run > 'Run when data file opened'. Does the Splash still appear to hang? Can you close the Tip window?

If you want to be exact you probably need to use something like a "Funds in Transit" account - transfer from bank2 to funds in transit on date 1 and then transfer from funds in transit to bank1 3-5 days later. Effectively you'd be splitting each transaction into 2 transactions. Cheers David H. O

If you import from bank 1 with the transfers to a Funds in transit account as the transfer account rather than bank 2 and then import the records from bank 2 with the transfer account as funds in transit, the dates will be correct in each of the bank accounts. The funds in transit account will end
