Downloaded the file from both Sourceforge and Git and when I tried to build
I failed with:
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
Thinking the build instructions may have changed I tried to look at the
Wiki and it appears the
Wiki is down.

Running Asus laptop with MX-Linux 21
I normally wait for a while before building a new release but this time I
jumped in.
I downloaded and built 5.2 without error. Added some transactions but could
not save them in xml.
Error:
"Could not write to file.check that you have permission to write

machine will depend on libicu67.
I am not linux-knowledgeable enough yet. looks like I may need to upgrade
the kernel.

Installing past versions of docs (ver 4.4) went smoothly.
With ver 4.8 docs build, starting the install from my script file ./

I get an error at line 11: ./configure: No such file or directory
Sure enough, there is no configure script file in my 4.8 docs build
directory.

MX-Linux 19.3_64
Built release 4.5. Textual reports work fine. However any report that
involves graphics does not render. Report loads and settings are available
but screen renders blank.
I also have versions 4.3 and 4.4 installed in their own directories - they
both render normally.

Your symptoms sound different, but I fought a similar situation where I

It seems that windows does not release any disk it uses because it helps
windows boot faster. I first
