A couple of weeks ago I attempted to download my USAA transactions using Direct
Connect for OFX through GnuCash. It failed several times over a couple of days
with the error: “The user cannot sign on because he or she entered an invalid

I attempted to open GC and having it write to Terminal using
/Applications/Gnucash.app/Contents/MacOS/Gnucash --logto=stderr. GC opened
and SLR showed two Scheduled Transactions (STs) had been created but were not
in the register. There was nothing really written to Terminal as shown
My problem is not SXs being created by mistake, it is that they are being shown
as created (both in the SLR and SX editor last created box for the SX) but not
being populated in the register at all. So seems I may have a bug. Appreciate
the help.

My scheduled transactions have suddenly stopped posting in the applicable
registers. The Since Last Run window shows them being created, but the created
word is greyed, not dark. See example below for Powd

Ran the commands in John’s last response and the Price Database Get Quotes
button is now working. Attempted to download quotes but got no quotes for any
stock. Looked at a sampling of stocks in Security Editor to make sure that Get
Online Quotes had not been unch

John, I ran the “ls -l /usr/bin/make” command for “make” and “xcrun” and got
the following which I guess says I have both “make” and “xcrun”.

Thanks. I’ve studied the cap gains and think I have a reasonable understanding
of how to determine either manually or by scrubbing. In this case, I sold the
stock for exactly what I paid for it. I waited until the price was close and
put a limit order in and it hit. No commission

Finder, Show Package Contents allowed me to see the path. It then dawned on me

First, I am not a computer person and know just enough to get myself in

I have a stock that went bankrupt, i.e. zero value. I have tried repeatedly to
remove the stock by selling the shares at $0.00 per share, but no matter what
combination I use, it changes the cost or amount so it does not remove the
shares. For example, I put -2000 shares in and $0.00 in cost a
