I had the same problem as Paras Desai. I checked the library and it
contains a file libxmlsec1.dll, but not the required libxmlsec.dll one.
I renamed the first file name to the required one (removing the "1") and
the error message disappeared.

I had to reinstall strawberry perl and finance::quote (1.49) and now can

I discovered that gnc-path-check comes backĀ with a programming error

"2.6.19-3" refers to the latest windows version of gnucash 2.6.19-3. The "-3"
is actually from the README.txt at
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnucash/files/gnucash%20(stable)/2.6.19/ which
contains the hash value.

I updated gnucash to 2.6.18 and the latest strawberry perl to finally
get Price Editor to work with yahoo_json. But now, reports appear in a
mino font size (estimated to be 3 pts), while other account windows are
normal (12 pts). Does anyone know where to set font size for the reports?

Liz,
I just saw that you have wiki privileges and was asking for corrections.
Here is a small one that I had sent to the user list, butĀ has not been

The windows version for running gnc-fq-check omits the fact these are
perl scripts.
IMHO, the lines should be modified to include "perl":

I have problems retrieving quotes with gnucash even though gnc-fq-dump
retrieves quotes when I use yahoo_json or yahoo_yql or alphavantage. For
example,
xx>perl gnc-fq-dump yahoo_json FBIOX FBGRX FCNTX FEMEX FARNX FDSVX FISMX FOSFX
FSCSX FTRNX
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:
symbol: FBIOX
