You will need to use the file open dialog and navigate to the location of
your files and open them explicitly using it. After this GnuCash should open
normally. If you upgraded from a 3.x version there should be no problem. If
from a 2,x version you may need to upgrade to a 3.x version first
I was using older version that worked with Catalina but today I downloaded the
4.2 version and it can’t find the files. I get this message below. I looked
at the FAQs and open the terminal ran the suggested code. When I ran the first
FAQ command - log show … it returned loads of text some
