Sounds reasonable enough. Filing an RFE (Request For Enhancement) at
bugs.gnucash.org might be in order.
I can see how one might want to know the amounts are zero and show those
accounts, but of course, if it is an option...

Yes, it seems like a thing that should be there, given its prevalence on other
report options. Editing
The reports that I've used have a report option (Edit » Report Options)
to hyperlink or not. I'm surprised the Account Report does not.

Got it. That works perfectly. Thanks.
Is
Rather than run the General Journal report directly, you can filter the
General Journal view (Tools > General Journal, then View > Filter by...)
then run Reports > Account Report.
For more fine-grained control, do an Edit > Find while viewing the
Accounts tab, then run Reports > Account Report

I would like to create a report similar to the General Journal report (under
Assets & Liabilities menu); however, I would like to restrict it to a certain
time period. Instead, it seems that the current version reports the entire set
of entries. Am I missing an option or another report that do
It's coming from Guile's garbage collector, bdwgc, and might be related to
building GnuCash for 32 bits on Windows.

A heap error is not common. Please file a bug in bugzilla, and ideally
attach https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Tracefile
Also try "gnucash.exe --debug" too

Good afternoon.
I am trying to generate a General Journal report however I am getting
a fatal error message followed by a crash in GnuCash. The error
message is "too many heap sections".
I am on Windows 10 (v1909) and using GnuCash 3.8.
Does anyone know if there is a way to circumvent this error
No, but you can use Edit>Find to select transactions and then run an Account
Report.

Hi,
Is there any way to select specific transactions to be printed on the
