it seems i found a temporary solution.. i run it as superuser, with this
command, from a terminal..
sudo /Applications/Gnucash.app/Contents/MacOS/Gnucash
it does not run from the dock...

gnucash 3.7.1 does not start on Macos 10.13.6
I was using it for 2-3 years, i tried to open it today, but it does not
start.
updated gnucash, nothing.
installed latest python, nothing.
added the app to the dock, nothing..
i can see the splash screen,
