one for Version 3.9 was sent on 30th December 2019. There's also a
gnucash-announce group just for such announcements.

There are announcements made on this list every time a new version is released.
There is also a separate list just for announcements if you like. (you don’t
send messages to that list, it is used as a one-way communication from the devs
to list members)

are perpetually connected to the Internet and holding their breath waiting
for the latest Spam E-Mails or announcements of software updates. If you
