Actually there seems to be something similarly odd going on with my 3.4 system on Ubuntu. When I open GC it immediately creates a 90k log file with loads of scheduled transaction entries, none of which do (or should) actually make it to the register. So for instance I see = START B4edff70

You might find the postpone button is off the right hand side. Make the window a bit bigger to see it. For me it works as it should (remembering reconciled items) as does the menu selection. I can't explain why it is not functioning correctly for you. Perhaps it is a Windows thing. Are you sure
