I reinstalled GnuCash and Strawberry perl (64 bit and 32 bit), F-Q via cpanm,
many times, many
ould suspect the crash happens because of mixing 32-bit Gnucash with

Gnucash has been 64-bit for some time. 3.7 will work fine. I’m using it now on
Catalina.
Note, you don’t ever have to upgrade MacOS on their schedule. Just dismiss the
notices and proceed when you are ready.

Not on the horizon, it’s already here: 3.x is 64-bit and runs only on 10.9

Thanks to inform - 32-bit OS runs on 64-bit OS.
I agree this is good enough, rather than wasting resources to build a 64-bit
OsS version
