i had just the opposite problem. i can't find any kind of a linux
driver for my USB drive. but i quickly figured out how to set this up

Running latest version of GPG on Windows XP.
I will sometimes start my PC and when the WinPT program launches, I have
a 0-byte pubring or secring. I have backups, but I am a little
concerned that I could lose all of my keys due to some corruption or
improper closing of the file.
