Haveged solved my issue. Worked instantly after installation.
Understood about my vps' comprised state.
This is for testing. My server published keys were indeed created under my own
full control.

Hello,
i have centos 7.2.x
gpg v2.0.22
when i run it with --gen-key, it goes through the motions but on the final step
of collecting entropy, it simply hangs and does nothing and my new key is not
created. what can i check on this issue?
