Can we add 'Writing a Renaissance GUI Builder' to the list of tasks ? I
volunteer mentoring a student doing that. It's a pretty tough job though,

only determined people! ;-)

But... for the sake of the Google SoC, it's probably best if we concentrate
on those areas in
which we are sorely in need of help. Currently, a Renaissance GUI builder
would be
interesting, but not essential.

FYI, I have an application into Google for SOC 2007. No word back
yet. Here's the current GNUstep page, which I just copied from last

We should be thinking about getting set up for this soon. Last year
we were not approved as a separate project, but we did get under the
GNU project. Has anyone started this or want to start working on this?
