Thank you for this, very interesting. I was sorry to miss the OAI
workshop (other work commitments precluded) it looks to have been a
useful event.
My report was never intended to be a fully comprehensive piece of work -
it was commissioned as pathfinder research for a conference, i.e. as
Institutional Repositories (IR's) are gaining good traction at many
research universities, and I think it is time for the Open Access
enthusiasts to take note and begin thinking about how both movements
might work together. There has been a lot of discussion about how Open
Access can support

One might have thought
Mark Ware's report on institutional repositories is a balanced, thorough
and welcome review that has some features not found in other reports of
this sort.
