Dear Cybergaokars on GoaNet,
As a concerned citizen,
you are well aware that there are many issues
affecting Goa and its people.
There is thus a need for us
to be well informed of what's happening,
what's reported in the media and what we can do
in our own small way to bring about a change
so that Goa, the country and the world
become less oppressive, more environmentally friendly
and developmentally sustainable for others and ourselves.
We at GOA DESC believe that
' INFORMATION IS POWER AND MUST BE SHARED EQUITABLY'.
Therefore our Centre has taken a step in this direction,
as we organize a session every fortnight
thereby creating the space for concerned citizens,
volunteers, sympathizers and activists to know more and to network better.
'FRIDAY BALCAO' is this space to listen, discuss,
chat, agree to disagree but most of all to get our act together.
