13th Konkani Day Celebrations on 16th by KBM Mumbai Konkani Bhasha Mandal Mumbai the oldest Konkani organisation joyfully celebrates 13th Konkani Day on Friday, September 16, 2006 at 6.30 pm at Zaverbhai Patel Auditorium, Karnataka Sangha, Mahim Mumbai.
Former chairman of Shamrao Vittal Bank and the chairman of Auto Pharmatical Mr. G. V. Masoorkar will be the chief guest. Former Reserve bank Executive Director Mr. M. L. T. Fernandes and the Youth Congress Leader Mr. John S. Rebello will be the guest of honour. Programme consists of the glimpse of Konkani Culture with group dance by the world fame Dr. (Fr.) Charles Vas S.V.D. Popular artists Kenny (in tantalizing female role), Jerry of Jerry Nite fame, Priya Cabral, Caron Barboza, Melita Saldanha, Manuel Cardoza, Ancilla, Alicia, Danny, Peter Rebeiro, John Cardoza, Leo Fernandes, Fliny, Floyd, Felita, Lona D'Silva, Jason, rickson, Renita and others will provide a feast of music and dance. Music is directed by Mr. Benjamine Miranda There will be also an enthralling Kavi Sammelan by popular poets.
