Dear Goa Sudharop well-wishers and friends: As there are some Goans living in areas hit by Hurricane Katrina, Goa Sudharop asks the Goan community in the U.S. to tell us who they are and how Goa Sudharop can help them. We can offer some funds to help these Goans in need. As a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit, Goa Sudharop can also give a tax-deductible receipt to US residents wishing to donate to this natural disaster. This tax deduction helps you reduce your taxes while helping a good cause.
We can also offer a limited number of homes to those Goans who need temporary shelter. Please note our charter which is approved by the US govt. allows us to only help Goa and Goans although our supporters are privately assisting others too. 1.
