Much acclaimed, much applauded and much appreciated Konkani Tiatro “ DEVAK ZAI ZALEAR” written and directed by well known stage artiste Ben Evangelisto will be staged in Kuwait on 13th February 2004. This Tiatro will be staged at Indian Arts Circle Funaitees starting at 3.30 p.m. According to some of the seasoned tiatro lovers, Devak Zai Zalear is one of the best dramas ever staged on Konkani Stage even though Ben has also showed his genius in staging his earlier dramas namely “Kidd” and “Chondrim”. Ben has got unique style of writing dramas and for this reasons his dramas are much sought after by the audience. Ben is also a very good actor, singer and one of the best comedians of Konkani Stage. For doing character roles he is second to none and this specialty of his was seen a year back when he played the role of Michael Jackson in the show Songit Sanz organised by KKK.
The entire troupe of Ben consisting of 16 artistes, males and females, will be coming to Kuwait to perform on 13the of next month. The comedy will be handled with meticulous perfection by Ben himself and comedian Sally and they will be teamed up with comedian Bonny as well. Hence, the comedy in this show will be plenty. The female artistes, attractive Rosy Alvares and charming Felcy will surely dazzle the audience while father and son duo of Young Chico and Jr. Chico will render fabulous songs to the delight of the attendees. Seasoned actors Mario Menezes, Antuch, Lawry, Connie M., and others will do justice to their roles. Well known producer Ajay Karekar will accompany the troupe to give extra booster for the play.
