Dear Friends, Some more details on the unfortunate episode of Rev. Fr. Prasad Gonsalves.
There is no way we can let go this unfortunate humiliation. Need for a stronger campaign for the withdrawal of the case against Fr. Prasad. The authorities can't treat him as a criminal and harass him in the discharge of his duties for the benefit of the marginalised sections of society. We need to protest and shout from the roof top. This episode is one more attempt made by fascist forces to discourage the others who are working for the deprived sections of society. In our last communication to you we had provided you fax / email ids of the Government officials. Please send a reminder to them that they have to act fast. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has its executive meeting on March 18 and will decide its future course of action.
