I don't know about the others but I have had occasion to interact with Mario Mascarenhas a few times and he is one of those very few 'social workers' who has created a lasting impression on me not only because of the humility and sincerity of his approach but also the principled way he stands his ground against great odds. I also wish to express my solidarity with Mario and wish him success in his fight against the destruction of Saligao's natural beauty.
