Dear Menin, Your article is an excellent expose of the Goan situation.
Enjoyed reading it fr beginning to end. For your inform. I lived
virtually fr the time I was a baby in Tanzania. Came back to retire in
2004 at age 70. Have enjoyed the 7 years I have lived in my partents
home that I maintained while in Tanzania. Enjoy the kind of social life
and friendliness that still prevails among my fellow Goans, particularly
Christians and Hindus. I would not want to retire anywhere else in
world, despite the set backs and trauma I experienced in the beginning,
despite the nature of politics, the garbage mess, the congestion on the
roads, the rocketing prices of property, etc. It is the human warmth
that keeps my spouse and I happy. All the best. Come back to Goa. Adrian
