Hey there! here is what took place this week at the institute along with some pictures.
At Carpediem Goa, Majorda in a workshop held on learning how to make ‘DREAM CATCHERS’ there was a large turnout of children. All here to adopt a new concept and learning a little about it. Dream catchers are a kind of ornamental hangings that are utilised in the western countries as a way to keep bad dreams away. Do they work? Its for each one to figure out for themselves. Not only are they beautiful ornamentation, but they can be made out of almost anything lying around the house. Some sticks or straws, wool or colourful thread and all sorts of other decorative. All the children who attended the workshop loved it and were excited learning a new way of utilizing wool and other things they find around the house in such an interesting way. To add to it there are more of these workshops to be held. There is the ‘learn and earn’ workshop by David Flaviano he will be teaching how to make Christmas decorations professionally, that means a way to make them not just personal use but rather to sell and earn something during the holiday season. Other than that for kids there is the ‘Papier Mache Piggy Banks’ workshop, teaching little children how to make them in order for them to learn how to save money. Again utilising things from around the house while doing it. All happening at Carpediem Goa, Majorda. thanking you for your time and looking forward to the help.=)
