Dear Goanetters
Thanks for the discusion on the goanet Selma and others. Nice way to discuss
on the net point by point. I don't think I am that smart like Selma and
Mario. I was good in debate in School but the debate had to be written by
someone e;dr we had ourEnglish teacher who had patience to write beautiful
debate for me, and train me also and I always took the credit. The chief
guest always took my name as the best speaker and I enjoyed the applauses
while my teacher sat on the last bench and no one had time to remember her.
I love you teacher. .Any way I remembered some posting on the net which
spoke about Fabrica and confrarias. Can someone tell me what is that? Our
padrevigar time again has been saying about Fabrica and Confrariars. MY
hubby said Fabrica means PWD. He does not know portuguese but pretends he
knows all and confrariars were those men dressed with opmus and go in a
procession. Any other function? No one seems to be telling. I would like to
know what is their job, how they get money and what they do with that. How
confrarias function what is their job and how do they get money and how do
they spend. Someone told me that feast and novena collections go to
confrarias and they celebrate the feasts during the year and fabrica does
all church constructions. Who appoints the fabrica? Once our Padre vigar
announced "Fabrica elections on so and so date." My husband wanted to join.
Someone told him not to . I do not know why.Please do not have too much
discusions on this posting as i am a bit ignorant on this fabrica and
Confrariars. But a narration will do only if someone knows about it.
