Alvito D'Cunha The brand ambassador for East Bengal shall now make an appearance on the big screen in a Bengalli movie where he would play himself. Alvito D'Cunha has been approached by a Tollywood director to make a special appearance in the movie called 'Aakashchua' which means to touch the sky. "I have three scenes in the movie. Rituparna Sengupta is the lead actress and another new heroine is also part of the group," said Alvito excitedly. The Goan star was approached by the director, S.Chakrabarty following his return from the pre-season camp at Jagannath Puri. "Since the muhurat (auspicious time for a start) was on Monday, the news finally came out. I was supposed to have my scenes in this week but since the ground isn't green at this point, we shall shoot sometime in the next month." Alvito isn't new to acting as he has acted in several one act plays in his hometown during festivals. "I love acting and always would participate in plays during Christmas and other festivals for the Church. I hope everything goes well." The former Salgaocar player is pleased with his form and was relieved after scoring a goal with his right foot. "I scored in the ASEAN Cup final with my right foot. The goal in Mumbai against Mahindra United was great as it came at a time when criticism was heavy. If I can score with my weaker foot, for sure I can with my stronger one," said the optimistic winger.
