Archbishop's New Year Greetings I am glad to send to the people of Goa my cordial greetings and best wishes for a Happy and Grace-filled New Year. I take this opportunity to make, yet again, a fervent appeal for peace in our land and particularly in our State. Humanity is not made better by violence and terror, but by faith and love. Violence imprisons people in a culture of enmity and death. On the other hand, Peace is the name of God and God never wants the destruction of the other. Peace heals wounds and helps make this world more liveable for the present and future generations. Let us all join hands to build such a world during the New Year 2008.
