There is a saying in English: "The smaller the head, the bigger the dream". Some years back a minister from Goa dreamt of building a bridge from Dona Paula to Vasco in lines with the Bandra-Worli sea link. It was just a pipe dream. Last year a Union Minister for Highways dreamt of building a new Zuari bridge with a viewing tower on lines with Eiffel Tower of Paris. We will to wait till the minister wakes up to find out if it is a dream. Now we hear in Goa Assembly of a proposed ropeway from Panjim to Reis-Magos. It says will attract high end tourist as well as generate employment. One wonders whether Goans are still in kindergarten or suffering from insomnia to listen to these bedtime stories?
