The post of Dr Swamy in FB is in poor taste, caustic, controversial and sarcastic and which has condemned unequivocally He is known to shoot from his foot and is ill informed about reality The church has allowed the parents, without bowing down to threats to withdraw their wards after persuasions, medical information, meetings failed to satisfy them It is the choice of the parents make their choices The Church in Goa through CARITAS is taking care of such persons for almost 15 years.Caritas has established ASRO at Tivim and ASRO(shelter) at Cavelossim especially providing care and support for those who are either abandoned or rejected by families and friends It is a conscious effort to cater to HIV+ Children and affiliated to NACO, which has stopped funding the activities The church in spite of detractors is resolved to continue the humanitarian work Dr Swamy has failed to draw mileage for the BJP propaganda mill.Goans irrespective of religious leanings appreciate the good work of love and service of Catholic Church to the HIV affected persons unwanted by their own families at times Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
