To Goanet - This evening on the way back to Panjim from Siridona, we took the route via Bambolim. The new project for what I think is the Grand Hyatt is almost complete. I was stunned by the scale of the monstrosity. The footprint extends virtually to the entire stretch of Bambolim beach. And then, adjacent to it is the file-missing-Digu-still-studying project of Aldeia de Goa.
My driver Babu and I laughed out aloud when we thought of the evening of Dec 26, 2006, where at this very site a rally was organized by the Save Goa brigade.
