Well, sir, I have to tell you that this situation is totally disgraceful and wholly unacceptable! * What has **Goa** become, that you have to resort to this? Can you explain to me why the public have to do YOUR work for you, and the work of your PWD Department?* This poor young woman, Cecille Rodrigues, is a single mother, who therefore obviously has commitments to looking after her son. Yet as a result of her own hard work and effort, *she is now receiving phone calls from all over * *Goa** to come and paint their speed-breakers!!* * Well, shouldn’t the PWD be doing that, sir?* This is totally ludicrous and you should be fully ashamed of yourself!! One other thing: Are the various local PWD departments planning on billing the government for this work that they HAVEN’T DONE?!! * I kindly request that you make it a matter of PUBLIC RECORD that these works have been carried out AT NO COST TO THE GOVERNMENT.* Finally, sir, I would like to ask you one more question:- * Since you are ultimately the person responsible for the road infrastructure in **Goa**, will you be willing to fund the funeral expenses for anyone who dies as a result of poor road conditions, such as pot-holes or unmarked speed-breakers?!!!* Sir, I think you need to start doing your job.
