*Sunday’s FIXTURE:*
*GFA Goa Pro League – Round 2 match* *31/08/14 Sporting Clube de Goa v. Dempo Sports Club @ Duler Stadium, Mapusa (kick off 4pm)* *SC GOA eye victory against Dempo* “We have been progressing well and so have our opponents. The game will be an opportunity to see where each teams stands,” remarked Sporting Clube de Goa Head Coach Oscar Bruzon. His side gets set to take on Dempo Sports Club in the second round of Gfa’s Goa Pro League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Sunday. The kick off time is 4pm. It was exactly a fortnight back that Dempo managed to scrape past Sporting Goa in the GFA Charity Cup match by a solitary goal, courtesy of Afghan Haroon Amiri’s spot kick. In the 1st round of the Goa Pro League, the foreigner repeated his party trick as Dempo edged past Vasco Sports Club 1-0 from the penalty spot to claim three valuable points. Two days later, the Flaming Oranje played out a 1-1 draw with Salgaocar, after India International Victorino Fernandes came off the bench to net the equalizer for the Goan outfit and cancel out Pierre Douhou’s opener for Salgaocar. Both teams have players away on International duty with the India U-23 camp, which gives other stars in the squad an opportunity to impress and put on a real feast for the fans, in the always entertaining Panjim derby. “My players have worked well all week, which I have congratulated them for. Now is the time to close it with a big performance on Sunday,” signed off Oscar. *PHOTO:* Sporting Clube de Goa players put on their dancing feet at Duler Stadium. -- CONNECT WITH US: www.sportingclubedegoa.com www.sportingclubedegoa.wordpress.com www.facebook.com/sportingclubedegoa.officialpage www.twitter.com/sportingoa -- CONNECT WITH US: www.sportingclubedegoa.com www.sportingclubedegoa.wordpress.com www.facebook.com/sportingclubedegoa.officialpage www.twitter.com/sportingoa
