I notice that the cashew nuts are closely attached (glued) to the
Ganesh which would have been made of the usual plaster-of-paris.

Would the Ganesh have been immersed into the seas cashew nuts and all?
I sincerely hope someone would have had the good sense to remove the
nuts before immersing the Ganesh.

With Goa's coconuts tasting quite inferior to those of 5 to 10 years
ago, perhaps some bright spark will substitute coconuts for cashew
nuts next year since the theme for that particular Ganesh is nuts!
