Padma Shree Shubha Mudgal is well known for her amazing rendition of the chart busting 'Rangeela Dhol Na' song that used to be covered by almost every pop band in Goa. She is currently in Goa to conduct a course in Diversity, Hybridity and Experimentation in the Music of Contemporary / 21st century India at the Goa University. Goan jazz bass player Colin D'Cruz has been a member of Shubha Mudgal's fusion band called 'Koshish' and has performed extensively with this celebrated artiste. Shubha Mudgal endorsed Colin's television show 'Goa Grooves' being broadcast every Sunday at 7.30 pm on RDX Goa cable TV channel after reviewing some of the footage sent to her.
