Goa Housing Board had fixed reserve price of Rs 5,000 per meter for its Mapusa Housing Board plots.
Surprising that the plots were sold for a phenomenal price of Rs 18,000 per square meter.Can ordinary Goan pay a price of Rs 18,000 per meter? that means plot only will cost 300 X 18,000=54 Lacs !!!!!! This plots must have been purchased by builders and politicians in nexus with builders. Goa Housing Board objective will be to provide affordable housing to Goans and Goans only, Government has failed in its objective of providing accomodation to its Goan population. Secondly this mullah received should be used in building houses for ordinary Goans and not spent in paying salaries to the staff of GHB. Regards Manoj Raikar Manoj Raikar
