It is true indeed what Ana Maria Fernandes has expressed. In our earthly race for greed, we have no time to either acknowledge the power of the Divine holy family or the fact that it should remind all of us the importance of being humble.
For many of us Goans, Christmas is all about Sorpotel, Sannas, Neoreu etc and each one for himself/herself and God for all. The only thing that is missing in us is the teaching of JC "Love one another as I have loved you" which supersedes all 10 commandments that Moses seem to have brought down from Mt Sinai. The moment Goans learn the meaning of the four letter word, the quicker we will achieve what the world dreams off. If we know what is love, then we would not have hundreds of Goans clubs in each country and undermine one another. Are we Goans beyond redemption? Oscar C. Lobo
