History of creators of Goanet from horses mouth, clarification by Fredrick
in all humility, for those like me may be inquisite to be informed

Thank you for that nice report! One minor point though: I feel the credit
given to me is undue. It's a team effort. Herman Carneiro
<https://www.facebook.com/hcarneiro?hc_location=ufi>founded Goanet, and it
was a good application of a tech concept (a mailing list) to build
community networking. After that, a whole lot of others joined in and
supported Goanet. (Agreed, I've been there long; but the oldest donkey is
not necessarily the wisest donkey smile emoticon ) For the present,
there's Tony
de Sa <https://www.facebook.com/tdesa2?hc_location=ufi>here on Facebook, Bosco
D'Mello <https://www.facebook.com/bosco.dmello?hc_location=ufi> and Gabe
Menezes <https://www.facebook.com/gabe.menezes?hc_location=ufi>. Over the
years there have been so many others volunteering. Plus, there have been
dozens if not hundreds (will I be exaggerating if I say thousands?) who
have built the network by sharing their views, opinions, suggestions,
criticisms and more.... I see myself as a clerk or postman helping to keep
the machine running. That's all. Incidentally, a lot of people back in Goa
might not know about Goanet; this is because of the fact that it's early
birth meant that it was initially largely an expat-oriented network, and in
some ways stays so. Please help to spread the word. A couple of posters at
today's meet raised free speech issues; I personally feel we have no right
to censor any point of view, unless it is defamatory or borders on
hate-speech.ory of Goanet creators from horses mouth, clarification in all
