With his usual analytical skills, political economist Dr Parakala Prabhakar 
educated in the LSE and wife of Nirmala Sitaraman India’s Finance Minister, 
makes a case for the inevitability of a Hindu India and a Hindi India, based on 
the latest PEW report.

Even though the report suggests that Indians prefer a diverse society, it is 
within the meaning of non-Hindus occupying inferior status.

With the BJP in the saddle for the foreseeable future (there is no single or 
even combined strong opposition entity) this could have enormous implications 
for non-Hindus and non-Hindi speaking people in the Indian fabric.
