In its lead editorial today OHeraldo writes: "The need of the hour is
presidential rule or military rule to curb these constant attempts to
destabalise (sic) the government." Military rule? Is Oheraldo blind or
partially brain dead? Is it not aware of the oversized military presence in
Goa (including at Dabolim airport)? Sure, under the guise of "training" they
are basically here for R&R. What does OHeraldo now want them to have, shoot
at sight orders? Against what? Armed insurgents, looters, arsonists,
anarchists etc etc? President's rule may be OK. But military rule? Let's get
real.
